Welcome to 96 layers, a well-written, well-research, and high-quality newsletter about AI news, law, and technology. The name “96 layers” refers to the number of layers in GPT-3’s neural network architecture. Since GPT-3 was the first AI model to go mainstream, in the form of ChatGPT, I thought the name might carry some good fortune. Plus it sounds sick.
